Jonathan Leibner
Jonathan is General Counsel, Head of Business Affairs and runs the day to day operations for N.S. Bienstock, Inc. He brings a unique knowledge of the broadcast industry and legal and business affairs to Bienstock's clients. In addition to running the day-to-day operations of the agency, Jonathan has papered some of the largest and most complex broadcast deals in the history of television news.
Prior to joining Bienstock, Jonathan was a member of the Sucherman Consulting Group, where he provided management consulting and creative services to some of the largest media companies in the world, including Viacom, Inc., NBC, E! Entertainment Television and America Online. Before that, Jonathan was an attorney with the law firm Weil, Gotshal and Manges LLP where he assisted in deals for many clients including CBS. Jonathan has production experience with both WABC-TV and WCBS-TV and received formal production training at New York University's Tisch School.
Jonathan graduated magna cum laude from Brown University and earned his law degree at Stanford Law School. Jonathan currently resides in Westchester with his wife, two daughters and twelve guitars.
Jennifer Rohrer
Jennifer Rohrer joined N.S. Bienstock in 2004 as a Business Affairs Executive. She brings a decade of entertainment law experience to the television programming deals, news employment and host agreements that she handles at Bienstock.
Prior to joining Bienstock, Jennifer spent almost six years as an entertainment attorney with Sloss Law Office, specializing in all aspects of film and television contracts. At Sloss, Jennifer represented numerous film and television writers, producers and directors, including Richard Linklater, Kevin Smith, Killer Films and Scout Productions.
Before that Jennifer had been a corporate securities lawyer at Brown & Wood LLP (now Sidley, Austin LLP) handling REIT and Investment Company Act work and had worked in the business affairs department of Miramax Films. Jennifer graduated from Fordham Law School and University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Jennifer currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband, Brad and their son.
Despina Beazoglou
Despina joined N.S. Bienstock in 2011 as a Business Affairs Executive, handling film and television programming deals as well as talent, publishing and news employment agreements.
Prior to joining Bienstock, Despina worked for more than 10 years as an entertainment attorney and business affairs executive in the feature film departments of both independent and major motion picture studios in Los Angeles, specializing in negotiating film development, production, acquisitions, co-financing and distribution deals. As VP of Business and Legal Affairs at Warner Bros.' Warner Independent Pictures, Despina was responsible for the division's development and production slate including the films "Good Night and Good Luck," "March of the Penguins," and "The Jacket," among others. Prior to her tenure at Warner Bros., she was also Vice President of Business Affairs at Senator International and had worked for The Canton Company, Franchise Pictures and Interscope Films/PolyGram Filmed Entertainment.
Despina graduated from California Western School of Law and the University of Connecticut.
She currently lives in Manhattan.
Kari Boston
Business Affairs Executive Kari Boston joined N.S. Bienstock in 2006 and works in all aspects of the Business Affairs Department including reviewing and negotiating news and hosting contracts, production agreements as well as literary and spokesperson agreements. In addition, Kari manages the Agency Paper Department.
Prior to joining N.S. Bienstock, Kari worked in many other facets of the entertainment industry including a stint in the communications department of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London and as a DJ at radio station WPRK in Winter Park, Florida. Kari is also a painter and her work has been exhibited in galleries in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Kari, an avid supporter of children's rights, also worked for The Legal Aid Society's Juvenile Rights Division in Manhattan as well as The Child Protection Team in Gainesville, Florida.
Kari graduated summa cum laude from Rollins College where she majored in English and cum laude from University of Florida's Levin College of Law. She resides in Brooklyn.
